Outlook/Hotmail not syncing. I'm using the gmail app (android mobile) and my hotmail/outlook emails are suddenly not syncing/resyncing etc. Some reference images below. But I do see why Gmail has 400MBs considering the features it offers when compared to Outlook, Yahoo, Spark and so on. They basically jammed three standalone apps in one.If a work account, then it's not possible as the Gmail app doesn't support MFA for non-Gmail accounts. Previously you could generate an app specific password to use, but since Basic Auth has been deprecated, this is no longer possible. Not for iPhone. Okay, found a solution that worked for me. in Gmail: go to edit account. find mail.me.com, edit it to imap.mail.me.com. save and quit, try (on one of my devices, I had to force synchronisation in general settings > account. If I clear cache storage in the app, the accounts resume syncing but only for a short while.
